Gif Making (1/3)

Today in class we were using photoshop to create our own Gifs, in preparation for our next brief. At first I found the program quite hard to use as normally I only use it for manipulating images. I also get confused when trying to figure out which layer to use and the different frame shots. Here’s my first try;

We then added movement to the gif;

After these primitive attempts (only using brush strokes) I tried to make a quick gif of some typeface;

This attempt looks a little better and there is some clear improvement in the animating. I do feel I need to play around with the program a little more though to get the hang of all the features it has. There are quite a few…
